    Lawrie Stuart Ronton
((1900-1865) / An Industrial City in a shoddily assembled one-floored house.)

A Brief History Of A Man Who Changed Poetry Forever

Stuart Ronton, like many others, grew up in a busy urban town that was widely known for its huge industry. He lived with a poor family and lived for 10 years in a shoddily assembled, one-floored house. Having no personal possessions, other than his widely famous clockwork mouse. Ronton moved out to seek a job at the age of only 10. Only a year later, both of his parents died of scurvy, leaving Ronton with nothing. He began writing poems and stories at the age of 13, which strongly influenced his beliefs and views on life.
At the age of only 15, he had his first poem published and printed. This was entitled 'I Am The Slotted Man'.
Producing at least two hundred pieces of poetry and writing more than 50 short stories, Stuart Ronton became extremely well known in the writing industry. Although, Ronton didn't just write poems, people say he made up strange beings and places in his mind. Putting each idea onto paper, Stuart Ronton was sentenced to five years in jail for expressing his beliefs. Many were offended by Rontons drawings of the dark creatures he created in his mind and from then on, his main focal point again became poetry. Most often, the poems resembled the ideas he had in his mind and sometimes even related to his complex pictures of the creatures and places.
After publishing his 'Book of Wrongdoings' in 1861, Ronton fell ill. Being condemned to a mental institute, he was monitored each and every day.
At the age of 35 he met his death after waking up in the middle of the night from a horrific dream. Ten minutes after waking up, he suffered a heart attack. One paitent claimed to have heard him shout 'Est con zild' before dying in his bed.

Now you have learnt a bit about Ronton's life, I will be presenting one of his poems a week, starting on Wednesday 4th March. These poems will be submitted every week, on a Wednesday.

(Mod edit: In case you did not know, this is a parody.)

    I Am The Slotted Man

    I am the slotted man,
    with trees on his head.
    Whilst the bird sings,
    i stare at the sky.

    With the tribe,
    and the knive,
    He not good fellow!
    What art you thee?
    My wilde eskimo childe.
    In the Nile.

The slotted man is a clam,
    The tribunal not exam
    Lest exclan mest, Ahan.
    Let them spear your thoughts,
    with silver rapid paper.

    Est Mar Zild.

    Noise

    Gold, freezing feeling.
    Slight change in the environment,
    less space yet less choice,
    Maybe the case is noise.

    Many a man,
    serves right when he can,
    This isn't an announcement
    To it.

    Sitting in his riches,
    Staunting the boots,
    of ice climbers,
    in the race.

    Race against time,
    Not a slow, motion crime.
    The grey rock,
    Can only glance back.

He's gone and lost his boy,
    called Jack.

This weeks poem was very dark indeed. Ronton was a very versatile poet.

    Many A Pound

    Small boy, plump and round,
How much can i get, many a pound.
This as such, would be his vow,
Everyday, his conciense didn't a bow.

    Wise plump old fellow,
    Don't take it over,
    The required amount.
    It will be game, in
    under a second.

    The question tongue,
    Into salvation, open.
    Out came a screech,
    Of a dying child.

    Free Man

    In a powerful glamour,
    He stands.
    Broader than any loyal servant.
    lay on the floor,
    A shilling.

    He kicks aside.
The rattle, That of a snakes.
    Thoughts,
    Of a penny farthing.

    Only he,
    Is free.
    Working he left many,
    To serve their masters,
    A steady wage,

    The old, wise Sage,
    But only sniggers,
    To see if one suceeds,
    He did. I vow!
    Standing here, in the seeds.

    Title Unknown

Pioneer of all things replicated in life,
    of a thousand wand might,
Join the judge and men and light,
the torch of the Neville of site,
    it,
    the answer lies,
    under
    over
anything else you may wish turn red and crumble behind

    Stocking filled with Chipmunk snipers,
    we should probably hide
    Die
    or choose else, blank.

    Blowforce Nature

    Keep the basket of rice,
    In the flames.
The bright flame nice is trye
    of kind men alight
    Why of five,
    How the sky,
Bronze monk captain shoots feet and flies.

    Questions of amask create
    of destination entirity again aligns
stack of Gold embrace frees the one grey panther alive
    Surmight. Behinde.

Who are we but Orge cheiftains inside?
Yeast rise up then down to hell
    back down to hell.
How are we to blame when we weren't even there,
the red caped pigmy won't listen to you
he's under strict orders from his string
    String of life.
    String in the eye.
